Places of birth and death, date of death, and spousal link are based on Mrs. Cobb's obituary which also states that she had lived in Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia, for more than five decades (beginning in 1957) before moving to Nahunta, Georgia. While in Albany Mrs. Cobb worked as an analyst at MCLB and was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church. After leaving Albany she was a member of Kingsland First Baptist Church in Kingsland, Georgia. She was survived by a son, Jay Courteney Cobb; a sister, Ruth Sirmans; a brother, Phillip Sellars; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
