Carl was born June 8, 1928 a son of the late Nelson Carl Pardoe and Clara Hocker Pardoe. He worked on area farms and married the former Marguerite Fay Driscoll on June 5, 1948. They purchased the Driscoll Family Dairy Farm in 1953. He was a lifelong dairy farmer and retired in 2001 after the passing of his wife Marguerite. He also was engaged in logging for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.
Surviving are four sons, Stephen C. and Shirley Pardoe of Forks Twp., Brice N. and Lois Pardoe of Elkland Twp., Lester F. and Scarlett Pardoe of Fox Twp. and Shelley M. Pardoe of Forks Twp.; a daughter, Fay Pardoe of Cherry Twp.; brothers Robert and Ann Pardoe of Williamsport and James and Dottie Pardoe of Elkland Twp.; sisters Mary Lou Balzer of Millview and Katherine Leljedal of Estella; brothers-in-law Marvin and Jule Driscoll of Canton and Richard Brown of Russell; sisters-in-law Marlene Pardoe of Elkland Twp. and Doris Driscoll Wells of Houghton, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant sister, Helen, two brothers, David Pardoe and John Pardoe, and an infant great-granddaughter, Erica Hope Shaffer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Millview Wesleyan Church with Pastor Erik Ireland officiating. Interment will be in East Forks Union Cemetery, Forks Twp.
Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday morning.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contribution can be directed to the Sullivan County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. 3rd St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
