FINAL RITES FOR JOHN CLAWSON, RETIRED FARMER.

John L. Clawson, son of Garrett and Martha Clawson, died on February 5, 1968, at the Fillmore County Hospital. He was born December 12, 1888, in the home which his parents built in their homesteading days in Nebraska.

Mr. Clawson farmed most of his life in the Geneva area, although he farmed in Kimball county a few years. He cared for his parents for a number of years before their death, his father having been blinded during John's youth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, and one sister. Surviving to mourn his death are nine nephews and nieces.

For a number of years he had resided in his residence in Geneva.

Funeral services were conducted at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Geneva at 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, Rev. Delano Spitzer officiated.
