He was born in Calhoun County, the
son of the late Dwight and Mary Parsons King.
He was a logger and a timberman.
Surviving are six sons, Dwight, George, Delbert and Lester King, all of Shock, Larry King of Front Royal, Va., and William Aaron Burrows of Hamlin, Va.; three daughters, Emeogene Cottrell of Shock and Lydia Dye and Sharon King, both of East Liverpool, Ohio; three brothers, Emery King of Big Bend, Delbert King of Nicut and Dale King of Grantsville; one sister, Ivy Sampson of Grantsville; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grand-children.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ocie King; one brother, Junior Bill King; two infant sons; and one granddaughter, Lisa Parsons.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Kenneth Heiney officiating. Burial was in Orma Cemetery, Orma.
