Hazel Olena Thompson Stoker, 84, died November 2, 1991 in a Provo care center.

She was born September 19, 1907 at Spring City, a daughter of Andrew Marinus and Anna Violet Hanson Thompson. She married Robert Stoker, II, October 14, 1927 at Price. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died May 12, 1976. She was educated in Carbon County schools, graduating from Carbon High School. She taught school in Carbon County and also taught and worked with handicaped children. She moved to Payson after the death of her husband. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities.She is survived by three sons and three daughters: Robert K. Stoker, East Carbon City; Grant E. Stoker, Kirtland, Washington; Mrs. Hollis (Merle) Muncy, Payson; Donald Stoker, Aurora, Colorado; Mrs. Dennis (Judy) Charlesworth, Heber City and Sherry Stoker of Payson. 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren. Five sisters: Vera Pickering, Orem; Ida Harmon, Provo, Ruth Draper, Moroni; Mrs. Lynn (Fay) Shepard, California and Beulah Stansfield of Salt Lake City. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. in the Payson West Eleventh LDS Ward Chapel, 780 West 500 South. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m. or at the church Wednesday, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Price City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
