Mrs. Hooper was born April 7, 1901 in Moody Texas and attended Eddy schools.
She married Murray Hooper on April 7, 1918 and the couple moved to Waco in 1924. Mr. Hooper died April 11, 1943.
Mrs. Hooper was a member of Calvary Baptist church.
Survivors include: daughters, Mrs. William (Frances) Ledbetter of San Antonio and Mrs. J.P. (Helen) Ledbetter of Waco; son, James M. Hooper of Kansas City MO; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
