Lt. Col. Forrest Jones (Ret.), San Diego, Calif., died there Tuesday April 11, 1989, in an automobile accident. He was born Feb. 27, 1918 in Uniontown, the son of George and Blanche (Kirker) Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Irene, of the home; a son, Malin Jones, Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Juliann Overlie, Modesto, Calif., and Lisa Linfesty, San Diego, Calif., a step-daughter, Sandy Graves, San Ramon, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held today in San Diego.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, in Uniontown Cemetery.
