Funeral for Allie D. House,76, of Anahuac were held February 26 at the First United Methodist Church in Anahuac with burial in Anahuac Cemetery under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home.
She died February 24 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Buna, she lived in Anahuac 65 years and was a substitue teacher for the Anahuac School District.
Survivors include a son Jim House of Anahuac; two daughters, Jo Ann Bingham of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary Lynn Cather of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Mrs. H.E. Moor of Anahuac; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
