Russel L. Oliver, 80, of Lafayette, died unexpectedly at 3:04 AM Sunday, Aug. 5, 1990, in Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville. Born in Attica, Dec. 27, 1908, he lived in Lafayette most of his life. He married Tresa Hammel, Jan. 18, 1946, in Lafayette; she survives.
Mr. Oliver, a self-employed cabinetmaker most of his life, retired in 1972. He attended First Christian Church and was a former member of Elks Lodge.
Also surviving is a daughter, Judy Koeniger of Atlanta, GA.
