Maude L. Miller, 92, Rt. 1, Idaville, died at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday in Tioga Pines Living Center, Monticello. She was born June 12, 1896, in Westfield, Ill., to Daniel James and Alice Fain Lashbrook. She was married to Vaughn Oscar Miller, who died Jan. 15,1943. She had lived most of her life in Lafayette and Idaville, and had also resided in West Point. She lived most of her life on a farm. She was a member of West Point United Methodist Church. She attended Idaville Church of God, Surviving are a daughter, Hazel Scott, Idaville; three sons, James L., Idaville, Oscar M., Lafayette, and Jack L., West Point; a brother, James Lashbrook, Westfield, 111.; 31 grandchildren; 59 great- grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Six children, three grandchildren, six sisters and four brothers preceded in death. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery, Tippecanoe County. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
