James Lawrence Pinckney, Jr., of Shepherdstown, WV, died unexpectedly on July 14, 2012, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.Jim was born in Greenbelt, MD, on November 5, 1940, and is survived by his wife of 24 years, Margaret (Peggy) Pinckney; daughter Lisa Pinckney-Dumm; sons Gregory Pinckney, Charles Pinckney, and Daniel Pinckney; sisters Mary Moscati and Barbara Wright; brothers Lauren Richter and Thomas Pinckney; grandson Alexander Dumm; and other extended family members. Due to his selfless act, the Virginia State Anatomical Program gratefully acknowledged and accepted the compassionate donation of Jim's body for the advancement of medical education. A memorial service will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center P.O.
