A WWI draft registration on June 5, 1917 is found for Alfred Bogg in Stanchfield which lists his birthdate as March 27, 1890 in Stanchfield. He is also listed as having both legs broken, partially healed.

Alfred Bogg died of pneumonia and influenza. October 15, 1918. The influenza epidemic. Albin Westberg was Alfred's step brother. Albin's children also had influenza and his 5 year old son, James Willard Westberg died in February 1919 from influenza. The other children went to the hospital but Willard was too sick to be transported.
