Miriam R. Rettinger was the daughter of Charles Enders Rettinger and Emma Kate Keiter Rettinger. The family lived on Armstrong St. in Halifax on the 1910, 1920, and 1930 Census records. The 1930 Census lists both Miriam and her younger brother Marlin E. as public school teachers. At sometime, Miriam lived in Maryland as indicated by her social security record. Miriam died in her home on either the 5th (SSDI) or 6th (Obituary published 7 November 1990).

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Reinhard Funeral Home, Millersburg. Burial will be in St. Peter's (Fetterhoff's) Cemetery, Halifax RD.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
