Statesboro - James Paul Strickland, 69, died Feb. 24 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Bulloch County and an Army veteran. He was a retired employee of Robins Packing Co.
Survivors: his mother, Mary Strickland of Statesboro; two daughters, Patricia Ann Prince of Browns Mills, N.J., and Bonnie Faye Strickland of Statesboro; two sons, Ricky Herdford of San Diego and James Paul Strickland of Hardwick; his caretaker, Evelyn Price; 11 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Thomas Grove Baptist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary.
