Last rites for Mrs. Lou Jimmie Green Pugh were held at the North Union Church on June 11 with Rev. Curtis Ellis and Rev. Paul Harlon officiating. Mrs. Pugh passed away at the Kosciusko Hospital June ninth. Burial was in the church cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Pugh was born April 6, 1876 in Winston County and married the late Edgar Pugh. She was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Sudie Smith, Mrs. Allie Mae Toten and Mrs. William Welch all of West, four sons, Claude Pugh, Lula, Walter B. Pugh, Lige Pugh, West, Eddie Kenzie Pugh of Memphis, Tennessee, one sister, Mrs. Cora Pugh of West, one brother, J. B. Green, West, 38 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons.
