In 1930, William H. Harding, aged 46, a signalman for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and his wife, Edna, were living on on Lakewood Street, Patchogue. Living with them was Martha Farrell, aged 58, widow.
In September 1962, her husband, William H. Harting, died in Pinellas, Florida. In May of 1963, Edna Adele Harting remarried, to Charles Kratchman, in Pinellas, Fla.
Obituary - Mrs. Edna A. Kratchman died Friday at her residence, 4221 Seventy-first Street, Pinellas Park, Fla.
She was born in Patchogue and resided here until eight years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Florida; one son, Col. Howard M. Harting, of the U.S. Air Force; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Zacher, of Patchogue; four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Norma Burke of Westhampton.
Funeral services were held today in the Church of Christ in Pinellas Park. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue. Arrangements were by the Robertaccio Funeral Home of Patchogue.
