Chris Lauer, 82, Tell City, died at his home Monday afternoon at 2:20 following an
illness of the past eight months.
Mr. Lauer formerly was a saw mill operator in Perry County and also worked at the Tell
City Chair Company.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. May Lauer,; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Lauer-Carter, Miss
Lillian Lauer, Tell City; one son, Theodore Lauer, Tell City; one step-son, Elbert
Johnson, Tell City; one brother, Fred Lauer, Lauer, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Yetta
Altheide, St. Phillips; Mrs. Kate Gyr, Arkansas.

Funeral services for Chris Lauer, 82, who died Monday afternoon at his home in Tell City
will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o;clock at the Zoercher funeral home. The Rev.
H. H. Peters, pastor of the First Evangelical and Reformed Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery
