Services held for Dick Roos, jr.
Dick Roos, Jr., 63, of Orange City, Iowa, was killed August 11, 1970, in a two-vehicle collision near Renville, Minn., where he formerly lived.

Mr. Roos was born September 23, 1906, in Orange City, la, to Dick and Martha Roos, Sr. He was married to Edna Kraai February 16, 1933, and farmed near Orange City until 1951
when they moved to Renville, Minn. He moved back to Orange City about three years ago.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, on August 21, 1966, and one brother, Okko; who died January 13, 1968.

Survivors include a son Larry of Renville, Minn., a brother, Jake of Lakewood, Calif., and one granddaughter, Karen Roos.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 13, at the Smith Funeral Home at Renville and at 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, at the Trinity Reformed Church at Orange City, with Rev. Donald Lenderink officiating. Burial was at the Westlawn Cemetery in Orange City with the Van Etten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
