Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Meily, nee Zentmyer, widow of the late Matthias Meily, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Engle, at Hopeland, on Saturday afternoon, aged 74 years. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Her husband died fourteen years ago. She is survived by the following children: Mary, wife of Benjamin Eberly, of Bath, Pa.; Sadie, wife of William Leisey, of Hopeland; Lizzie, wife of Martin G. Weit, of Hopeland; Tilden Meily, of Lexington; Susan, wife of Willis Weidman, of Clay; Mrs. Bertha Engle, of Hopeland; John Meily, of Lexington. There are also 28 surviving grandchildren; also one brother, George Zentmyer, of Lebanon. The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Engle, at 2 o'clock this Thursday afternoon, followed by services at 2:30 o'clock in the Hopeland U. B. church. Rev. N L Fake will officiate. Interment will be made in the Brickerville cemetery.
