Funeral services for Elda Earle Holt 86 of Grapeland, will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Grapeland, with Rev. Chuck Bratz officiating. Burial will follow in Parker Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Holt passed away Sunday in Port Arthur. She was born September 12, 1925 in Oklahoma City, OK. to Jewel Leo Brown and Dorothy Hardy Brown. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Grapeland, Grapeland Garden Club and a housewife. Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her parents, husband Grover Cleveland "Cleve" Holt, Jr. and son Jeff Holt. She is survived by son Kirk Holt of Grapeland, granddaughters; Tonya Broussard and husband Ryan of Crystal Beach, Teri Killingsworth and husband Wesley of Whitehouse, Jennifer Gadaleta and husband Paul of New Jersey and Kassie Crist and husband Elliott of League City, grandson Eric Holt of Pennsylvania, great grandchildren; Morgan Allyn, Madelynn Killingsworth and Emma Rose Holt. Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel Grapeland.
