Her parents were married in Washington County and shortly thereafter left New York for Illinois. Sarah's grandparents are Robert Spink and Sarah Matthews.
Sarah married Charles West Stolp on 22 Mar 1854 in Naperville, Illinois.
They were blessed with the following children:
F I. Eva was born 13 Jan 1856 and died in Sheridan, IL at the age of 87 on 17 Sep 1943. (m. Charles Jinks, later to Thomas Winder - four children)
M ii. Erwin Bristol was born in Naperville, IL on 23 Apr 1857 and died about 1900. (M. Alice Josephine (Updike) - five children).
F iii. Alice Mary was born in Aurora, IL on 23 May 1859. and died in Fresno, CA, at the age of 84 on March 23, 1944 (m. Walter Robert Groves - one son)
M iv. George F. was born in Aurora, IL on 17 Jul 1862 in Aurora, Kane, IL. He died 6 Jun 1883 at the age of 20, in Jewell, Kansas.
F v. Hariet M. was born in Aurora, IL in 1864. She died July 4, 1956 in Aurora, IL, at the age of 92(m. David Herman Sickafoose ).
