Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Marguerite E. (Joy) Sheble.
She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the former All Saints Hospital, both in Philadelphia. She was a founder of the Stagecrafters Theater Group, Philadelphia.
She was a 1923 graduate of Wilson College of Chambersburg, Franklin County.
Survivors: Nieces and nephew.
Graveside services: 5 p.m. Wednesday, Shawnee Presbyterian Cemetery, Shawnee on Delaware. No calling hours. Arrangements, Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, East Stroudsburg."
