DEATH OF MR. JAMES McPHERSON
The death occurred on Saturday last, at the residence of his son, in Almasippi, of Mr. James McPherson, an old-timer in Carman district, who for many years was engaged in the painting business in town, but of late had not been able to do much owing to failing health. Death was the result of cancer in the stomach, from which he had suffered for some length of time. The wife of deceased and other members of the family removed a year or two ago to Northern Alberta, where they took up land. The remains were interred in Carman on Sunday afternoon, the pall bearers being neighbors of the deceased in Almasippi.
