Harry W.Tressler,118 Price Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,May 21,1987,at 3:20 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 83. Mr.Tressler was born in Fort Hill,Somerset County,on Feb.10,1904,a son of the late Ezra and Emma Gower Tressler. He was a member of First Christian Church,Monessen,F&AM Lodge 643 and the Uniontown Lodge of Perfection. He was a former employee of the Page plant of American Chain and Cabel Co.,having retired in 1969 as a micometer reader. He lived in Belle Vernon since 1945. He and his wife,Pearle Holliday Tressler,celeberated their 62nd wedding anniversary in February. In addition to his wife,survivors include three daughters,Erma L.Keslar at home,Mrs.David (Jeane) Kreger of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Andrew (Sandra) Kostelnik of New Brighton,a brother,Richard of Monessen,a sister,Irene Tressler of Confluence,seven grandchildren,and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Conrad G.Auel,pastor of First Christian Church,Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
