Gilbert L. Holmes, 67, of 116 Middle St., Fayette City, died yesterday at 8:55 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. Mr. Holmes retired in 1966 as supervisor of safety and police at the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons, Fayette City Lodge, McKean Commandery of Charleroi, Royal Arch Chapter in Monessen and Syria Temple of Pittsburgh.
