George J. Evans, 47, of Carson St., Pricedale died at about 5 a.m. today in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a lingering illness.
Born May 6, 1924 in Star Junction he was the son of George A. and Anna Rabatin Evans.
Mr. Evans was employed as a foreman in the electrical department at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
He was a World War II veteran.
