I finally found my gg grandmothers obituary after looking through ALOT of microfilm, see below:

Mrs. C. E. Roberson Is Buried Saturday
Mrs. Cynthia Elizabeth Roberson, age 75, passed away at the home of her son, Croff, on Route No. 2, Thursday after an illness of about two years.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock Saturday morning at the Sardis church with Rev. Steve Garner conducting the services. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were W.T. West, Ralph West, Jack Bowen, Joseph Cooper, Autry Thacker, and Everette Peterson.
Mrs. Roberson was born August 24, 1868, in Paulding County, and moved to Polk County at an early age. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband Tom Roberson in 1925. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Cora West, Mrs. Louana Peterson, and Mrs. Madgie Thacker, five sons, Grover, Croff, Dave, and Kale of Cedartown, and Almon of Brunswick, Georgia, three sisters, Mrs. G.M. Newman of Braxton, Miss., Mrs. B.H. Hiett, of McGee, Miss., and Mrs. Dora Harris of Rockmart, thirty-four grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.


Cynthia was the daughter of:

Rev. Samuel Garner 1839-1900

Loucinda Angeline Bishop Garner 1850-1923
