She was born January 5, 1913 in Hancock County, IN. She lived most of her life in the Anderson area.
In 1975, she retired from Delco Remy after 32 years.
Ottie was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Stamp Club, the Travel Club, and Republican Women.
James Whitcomb Riley was Ottie's Great Uncle.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacquie (husband, Gordon) Brauchla of Anderson; son, Gene Ginley (special friend, Annette Dean) of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Brenda Brauchla (husband, Ron) Martin of Pendleton, Tracy (wife, Amy) Brauchla and Lisa (husband, Rob) Spaulding, all of Anderson, Ty Ginley of Indianapolis, and Lonnie (husband, Lance) Carpenter, Leslie (husband, Bob) Wilson, Pat (wife, Julie) Ginley, and Libby (husband, Todd) Freer, all of Anderson; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
