Lucille Sullins, age 82, a McGregor home-maker, died Monday, October 1, 2001, in Waco.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel in McGregor with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at McGregor City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sullins was born January 5, 1919, in Flat, TX, the daughter of the late Floyd Lee Howard and Lilly Pearl Copeland.

In 1926, she moved to McGregor from Flat where she attended schools and was a member of College Ave. Baptist Church and was a member of the Willing Workers Class.

She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Willie Raymond Allen, Raymond D. Edmonds and Harold Sullins; a sister Ella 'Geneva' Williams; 2 brothers, James Edwin Howard and Olan Floyd Howard; and a grandson, Michael Weschke.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Barbara L. Smith of McGregor; Shirley A. Weschke of Dawson and Mary Ann Chambers and Beverly J. Howard, both of McGregor; a brother, Elmer 'Ewell' Howard of Berwick, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

For those desiring, the family has suggested memorial contributions to be made to McGregor Ambulance Ass'n.; College Ave. Baptist Church or McGinley Memorial Library.
