James T. Hockensmtih,48, Hanover, died Thursday at 2:25 p.m. at the Hanover General Hospital where he was a patient several days. Mr. Hockensmith was a son of the late Edward J. and Agnes May Johns Hockensmith. He was a member of Scared Heart Basilica, Edge Grove, and Lodge 227, Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are two brothers, David E. and Basil Hockensmith, Harrisburg.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, with prayers at 8:15 a.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover, followed by a Requiem Mass at 8:45 a.m. at Scared Heart Basilica. The Rt. Rev Msgr. John P. Bolen will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
