HARRIET HOPKINS, thirteenth child of Archibald Hopkins and seventh child of Margaret Shanklin.

Cared for her father and mother as long as they lived. She was remembered by her father in his will. She was a good horsewoman and rode on the Ohio hills wherever her father could go, and that was saying much. After both father and mother had passed on to the Eternal Home, she married Noah Evans of Hillsboro, a ruling elder in the Presbyterian church in this community. He made her last years very happy ones.

Noah Evans was born 24 August 1795, in Cabin Creek, Clark Co., KY. Noah died on 18 July 1871, in Hillsboro, Liberty Twp., Highland Co., Ohio.

Noah was married to Elizabeth Dodd Robinson Evans as she was born in November, 1795. Her mother, Jane Robinson (Carson) died December 8, 1795, very shortly after birth of Elizabeth.

Elizabeth {likely born in Fayette Co., PA rather than} mentioned below at Chillicothe, Ross Co., Ohio. Elizabeth died on March 2, 1864 and buried here at Hillsboro Cemetery.
