Death date is an estimate based on the following:

Anthony and his wife Ellen and children Mary and Martha were found in Carbondale in the 1860 census, where Anthony was a miner.

By 1870 Mary was listed alone in Carbondale with the children, so it is assumed Anthony died between 1867 and 1870 in Carbondale.

Approximate birth dates per the 1860 and 1870 census records:

Anthony - 1829, Ireland
Ellen, 1832, Ireland
Mary, 1857, Pennsylvania

The Pittston Gazette, April 4, 1867, page 3, reported an "Awful Conflagration at Carbondale"
The article described a fire that engulfed both sides of Main Street, destroying at least 60 buildings, over half of the business district. The buildings lost were listed, and included the following:
Miss Nealon's Millinery
John Nealon's Store
Anthony Nealon's store and residence.

It is unknown if it is the same Anthony Nealon, but seems possible.
