Ruth Stribling McClintock, 101, of Refugio, was born in Rockdale, Milam County, Texas, to the late C.K. and Mary Copeland Stribling. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian. Survivors were two daughters, Rebekah Lou Scott and Ruth Jeanette McClintock, both of Refugio; a son, William Simpson McClintock Jr. of Kenner, Louisiana; a sister, Cornelia Stribling of Rockdale; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Simpson McClintock. Services were held at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. James R. Stewart officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Refugio. Moore Funeral Home. Corpus Christi Caller-Times, August 19, 1999
