Margaret Fleek was the daughter of Conrad Fleek and Nancy Leatherman. She married William Henry Harrison Pugh Jr. on 20 March 1859 in White County, Indiana. She was the mother of 4 Children: Schulyer C. Pugh, Virginia Frances "Jennie" Pugh, Mary Odell Pugh, and William Henry Harrison Pugh the 3rd. Her two youngest children died young. Schuyler married a widow with 3 children, but had no children of his own and Jennie never married. Shortly after Margaret's death her family moved to Los Angeles. Her husband died in 1907. Her siblings include Elizabeth (Fleek) McKillip, Catherine Fleek, John Fleek, Abraham Fleek, Nancy Fleek Dawson, William Henry Harrison Fleek, and Virginia (Fleek) Mahin.
