OBITUARY OF STEPHEN DOUGLAS FRAZIER

EDDYVILLE: Stephen Douglas Frazier, Jr. age 59, died at the Mahaska Hospital Friday at 10:45 p.m. He had been a patient there about a week.

Stephen was born July 8, 1914, in Monroe County and had lived in Eddyville for many years. He was the son of Stephen A. Douglas Frazier and Arvada (Vada) Harger Frazier.

Steve married Myrtle Hilda Larson, March 7, 1935, at Unionville, Mo.

He had been a coal miner, had worked on the railroad and most recently had been employed by the Oskaloosa Engineering Co., until his health failed.

He is survived by his widow, three sons, five daughters, two brothers (Max Frazier of Albia and Loyd Frazier of Williamson), three sisters (Mrs. Ethel McDonough of Eddyville, Mrs. Bertha Evans of Albia and Mrs. Kate Claver of Lovillia), and 17 grandchildren.
