To this union 11 children were born: Ermina May, Orman E, Jesse, William Ernest, Richard, Charles Bert, Effie Irene, Guy Earl, Kenneth Raymond, Frank Leslie and Wortha Clifton. All were born in Iowa except Orman who was born in Nebraska. Jesse and Helen lived in Nebraska for abt 2 years before returning to Iowa.
He married Mary Penhollow at Mr Carroll, Illinois on June 26 1919. His first wife Helen passed away on June 14 1916.
He was visiting his son Frank Holtzman in Iowa for the winter when he became ill and gradually failed until his death on Monday November 21, 1932 with burial in the Lima Cemetery Lima Iowa Wednesday.
