Aaron L. Sharp, 65, who lived alone at his home in Fox Hollow, was found dead there Monday by neighbors who investigated when he did not respond to repeated knocking at his door.
Officers who were called believe he died on Saturday.
Funeral services were held Wednesday forenoon at the Pratt Chapel with the Rev. Lester Mathews officiating. Burial was in Dayton Corners cemetery.
He is survived by five children, James, Richard, Marian, Ardith and Helen, all living in Oxnard, Calif.
