Adeline E. Cohler, 90, died on Jan. 3, 2009 at Edgewood Vista in Hermantown, after a short illness.

Adeline was a lifelong resident of Duluth and a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. For many years she operated her own business, the Hillcrest Beauty Nook. She was also active in her church, singing in the choir, and serving on the Altar Guild.

Adeline is survived by her nephew, Neil (Jeanne) Wagner, Champlin, Minn.; her niece, Leslie (Gerald) Cogan of Pensacola, Fla.; and great-nieces, Lennette Sunderman, Diane Wagner, and Carri (Terry) Fadden.

The family would like to thank the staff at Benedictine Health Center, Edgewood Vista, and St. Luke's hospice for her care.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 219 N. 6th Ave. E. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial at Park Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Altar Guild at Gloria Dei. Service entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota.
