Dylan Brown, beloved son of Nova Lee and Trevor Brown of Calgary, passed away on July 9, 2012 at the age of 20 years.

Dylan was born September 25, 1991 in Saint John, New Brunswick. He is currently enrolled in Pure Math at the U of C Bachelor of Science Program. He lived in Quispamsis, New Brunswick until the age of 5. He has lived in Calgary since then. He worked as a tutor at Renert Centre for 4 years. His favorite hockey team was the Detroit Red Wings, favorite author was J.R.R. Tolkien- Lord of the Rings, and favorite band was Finntroll. His greatest achievement was graduating with an IB Diploma with Honours from Henry Wisewood. Some of his biggest passions were snowboarding, music, Japanese Anime, and his two dogs "Penny" and "Piper". One of his most treasured items was his custom designed and made "Ran" guitar.

Dylan is survived by his parents Trevor and Nova Lee Brown; sister Zoe Brown; brother Alex Brown; grandparents Elizabeth Lutes and Rose Brown; Uncle Rick Brown (Deanna); Aunts Cheryl Currie (Randy), Jennifer Campbell (Joe) and Dana Hannett (David); cousins Katie, Ava, Aaron, Colton, Jade, Rhyen and Corey, along with many close friends.

Dylan was predeceased by his grandfathers Huxley Brown (2009) and Ken Lutes (2012).

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24th Street S.W.) on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24th Street S.W.) on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Norton, New Brunswick. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
