Mrs. Edna Blanton Pilkinton, 55, widow of Richard E. Pilkinton, former claims reviewer in the Treasury Department, died suddenly Sunday at the home of her brother, Capt. S. G. Blanton, in Lansing, Mich.
A native of Richmond, she graduated from the Randolph-Macon Women's College in Lynchburg, Va., and had been a resident of Washington for 27 years.
She is survived by two children, Richard and Emily, both of Washington; three brothers, Capt. Blanton of Lansing, C. E. Blanton of Richmond and B. B. Blanton of Washington, and a sister, Mrs. R. G. Butcher of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at her late residence, 1720 Hobart street, with burial at 4:30 p.m. in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond.
