Marie Zelda Child was born in Vietno, Wasco, Oregon 20 Feb 1899, daughter of William Warren Child and Delilah Rosabell Richardson. She was the 5th of 6 children and was close to her younger brother David R Child. She married Ephram Barnes abt 1917 and they had 3 children, Robert, Catherine, and Bruce. Her second marriage was to my grandfather, Edgar Thomas Prater on 16 May 1925 in Stevenson County, Washington. Edgar passed away in 1936. Her third marriage was to an unknown McDonald. She is buried in Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California. She was the owner of several grave sites in Rose Hills including my grandfather's.
