Obituary: James L. Brunner, age 78 of Fairborn, OH passed away Friday Mar 23, 1990 in the USAF Medical Center, Wright Patterson A.F.B.. An area resident since 1963, he was born Nov. 30, 1911 in Portsmouth, OH; the son of Gustave and Eva (Brown) Brunner. He served his country during World War II, Korean Conflict and Vietnam with the US Air Force, last serving with the Office of Inspector General and retiring at the rank of Lt. Colonel from Wright Patterson A.F.B. Aug 1, 1965. Mr Brunner was then employed with the Air Force Logistics Command, Wright Patterson, as an Airlift Traffic Forecaster in Traffic Management, retiring July 1974, after 35 years of dedicated government service. He was a member of Fairborn United Methodist Church and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Juanita; 3 daughters, Shelia S. Fulton of Fairborn. Rebecca Lynn Brunner and Mary Beth Brunner both of Miami, Fl.; a son, J. Tim Brunner of Fairborn; 5 grandchildren and a great granddaughter, Amanda. No visitation will be observed. private services in the Belton Funeral Home, Fairborn with the Rev. Robert Rutan officiating. Burial in the Fairfield Cemetery.
