Estelle Flowers Poteat, 91, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She was born December 28, 1929 in Gaston County to the late Labon and Ellen (Branch) Flowers.
Estelle is survived by nephews, Donnie Flowers, Tommy Flowers and wife Teri, niece Lore Flowers and fiancé Tom Wetzel; best friend, Louise Harris; family member, Betty Thomas of FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frank Dewey Poteat; brother, George Holland Flowers and wife, Clara; sisters, Lena Weaver, Lucy Samuels, Gertie Eastwood, Martha Cherry; nephew, Michael Flowers, niece, Linda Flowers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Bethesda Full Gospel Tabernacle. Reverend Rick Harris and Reverend Larry McDaniel will officiate. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
