JENNINGS, La. — Henry Clay Miller Sr., 77-year-old residident of Jennings, died at 8:15 this morning in the American Legion Hospital. Death followed a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held from the Miguez Funeral Home Saturday evening with burial in the Greenwood cemetery. Services will be Episcopalian with Masonic graveside rites following.

Rites will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Miller had lived in Jennings since 1937, retiring from the Interstate Pipeline Co. in 1947. He was a member of the Melville Lodge F&AM and the Shreveport Consistory. He was also a Shriner of the El Karabuh Temple in Shreveport.

Survivors include his wife, the former Aline DeZauche of Jennings; one son, H. C. Miller Jr., Jennings; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Ringer of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Dr. Weston Miller, Abbeville; J. B. Miller, Abbeville; three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Duplechin, Eunice; Mrs. Blanche Gournay, New Orleans; Mrs. Mathilda Mays, Mandeville and two grandchildren.
