GREAT BEND - Gloyd G. Burk, 76, died
Sunday at Central Kansas Medical Center.
Born Nov. 16, 1898, at
Oneida, he married Marie
Schwindt Sept. 2, 1934, at
Wichita.
He was a retired
florist and was a resident of
Great Bend since 1934.
He was a member of the First United
Presbyterian Church; Masonic Lodge;
Past commander of Barracks 2109
during WWI; past president of
Silver and Gold Club; and past
president of the Association of Retired
Persons.
Survivors are the widow; two sons:
Gilmore, Wichita; Vilmore, Jacksonville,
Fla.; sister: Mrs. A. J . Venning,
Wichita; seven grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the
Bryant-Fryberger Mortuary; Rev. Lars
Hamerson. Burial will be in La Crosse Cemetery.
