Glouster - Clarence E. Bernard, 77, of Glouster Route 3 (Red Town) died suddenly at his home Saturday. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Local 2791 UMWA.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Palo, Athens, and Mrs. Thelma Grubic, Arlington, Va., two sons, Eldon, Falls Church, Va., and Delbert, Washington, D.C.; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. One son and a daughter preceded him in death.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Norbert W. Johnston funeral home with the Rev. Don Seevers, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
