Jimmie Ann Abbott Beaty, 79, formerly of Decatur, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at The Terrace in Jasper.
Service will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home with burial in Walker Memory Gardens. Charles Powell will officiate. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jasper.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann; her parents, Jas H. and Carrie Abbott; brother, Thomas Abbott; and sister, Ruth Blake.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, J.B.; sons, Mickey and Ricky; daughter-in-law, Vonda; grandchildren, Dustin, Saige, Anna and Adam; sister, Helen Rye; brother, J.G. Abbott; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends from the Holiday Inn of Decatur lunch group.
