Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Mon 24 Feb 1947: "Frostburg-Mrs. Agnes Connelly, 77, who resided at 14 Mill street, this city, died at noon yesterday in Miner's Hospital. She had been in failing health six weeks. Mrs. Connelly, a daughter of James and the late Katherine O'Connor, Washington Hill, near Eckhart, was twice married. Her first husband was Michael J. Piper and her second was John B. Connelly. Children surviving by the first marriage are two daughters, Mrs. Albert Dawson, Keyser, and Mrs. Walter Parker, Romney, W. Va., and two sons, John L. Piper, Eckhart, (it does not name the second son). Children by the second marriage who survive are Mrs. William Allen, Eckhart, and Richard Connelly, 14 Mill street, with whom Mrs. Connelly resided. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. The body is at the home of her son, Richard. Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery."

The body is at the home of her son, Richard Connelly, 114 Mill Street."
