LAURA NEWMAN DIES - Funeral Services Will be held at Salvation Army Church
Mrs. Laura Newman aged 71 years, died last night at her home in South Pearl Street, death being caused from a complication of diseases of
which she has been a sufferer for a number of years. Besides her husband, Alex Newman, she is survived by four sons, Charley, Theodore,Guy and John, all of whom live here or near here. A sister, Mrs. Weaver of Chicago, also survives. The funeral will be held at the Salvation Army church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon, and burial will be made in East Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Wainscott of Shelbyville will be in charge of the services, on account of the absence of Capt. J. A. Teach.
