Funeral services for Benjamin (Benny) Harold Edwards, age 60 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 8, 2010 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow at Pine Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Lee Pettis and Rev. Wayne Nichols will officiate.

Mr. Edwards was born on October 14, 1949 and is a native of Laurens County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Cecil Harold and Mary Ernestine Veal Edwards. He was self-employed as a Mechanic. He was a member of Pine Hill United Methodist Church. Mr. Edwards passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at his residence. Ernestine was the daughter of Lille Mae Cook, daughter to William Thomas Cook and Sarah Earnestine Cox

Mr. Edwards is survived by his loving Wife, Lois P. Edwards, of Dublin, a Daughter, April E. (Rocky) Ryals, of Dublin, God Daughter, Stephanie Horne, of Dublin, and a Grandchild, Cadence Ryals.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in memory of Mr. Edwards to Cornerstone Assembly of God Youth Project-Picnic Shelter at P.O. Box 1028/Dublin, Georgia 31040.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
